Whoa, Dude. That is a seriously fucked up story. Bet they wouldn't have arrested her if she'd been an Anglo girl from a wealthy neighborhood. But in California (as I have learned on various visits) most white people, poor as well as rich, think it's funny and ok to teach their children racist names for Mexican Americans, so why should we be surprised that she got arrested for not smiling and taking it?
